This one is hard alright. Hard to pin down all the samples but there is a lot here that I recognize from some time, and now it is new again (with more bass). It is definitely a big raver, with nods to breakdance proto-hip hop, footwork, hardcore rave, etc. This track just feels like NYC.

Some of you might remember the talented Tyler Coray from last year’s video for Monster Rally’s “Surf Erie” which ended up on a number of best videos of 2011 lists.  We are extremely lucky to work with him again, this time he takes on “Mighty Love” by Roman Ruins off the forthcoming Homebuilding 12”.  I think we’ll all agree that the beautifully shot footage and strange juxtaposition of the lyrics/visuals makes one incredible video.
